Three reports circulated of Prospect LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSHES in a few place gave rise to chasing. At least I got one of them thanks to help from a few birders.
Three reported locations today were the Vale of Cashmere pool, the Ravine ,and the back shoreline of Upper and Lower Pools. I got the one at Ravine thanks to Juan Salas spotting it and Eni and Rafael helping me getting on the bird that was in the creek about 150 feet south downstream from the Little Rock Arch Bridge. The darn bright glare is a tough factor !
The Upper Pool bird was more elusive . With many branches and trees in the way, it was tough looking for the bird. Perhaps its the one roving there to Ravine. We know there's at least two birds in the park.
On the north side of the Three Arch Nethermead Bridge, Isabel Conte reported two BLUE GRAY CATCHERS in a stream base tree just prior noon.
