As I expected this past weekend, the season's first LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH has arrived.
Situated in a "no man's land" between the Vale Cashmere Rose Garden and the compost yard, Ryan Candee reported a mid afternoon LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH. The area adjacent to Flatbush Ave is marked by a giant Willow Oak tree, infested with so many invasive Mulberry trees. I guess this is the waterthrush's domain.
To supplement the waterthrush, PALM WARBLERS are reported in better numbers. In between the Upper Pool and Lower Pool, that's the area Charles Tang mentioned as active.
