Good news first after several days absence regarding Prospect's VARIED THRUSH: it was reported today with photos confirming it at Falkill Falls. This falls is down the path from the Dog Beach ,or the falls that feeds the Upper Pool.

The Brooklyn Bridge Park PAINTED BUNTING remains in the picture with mid day sightings at Pier 5 near the restrooms. Generally the upper back grassy area is its abode.
And ICELAND GULL,a number reported in different Kings areas was spotted at the Sunset Park army terminal pier which is by 58th street and 1st Ave I think. Any coastal spot suffices including Bush Terminal Park.
