Dear reader:
As the days warm up, its up to us, regardless, to seek or be alert for discarded fishing line and tackle (hooks) that may be within reach, that is a tremendous danger to our wildlife.

If you see fishing line around in our native habitat in Prospect Park ( or elsewhere)
1) please pick it up and bag it to throw into a trash receptacle.
2) email info@prospectpark.org or other local authority if its inaccessible . A staff person may get from a boat ,long pole, etc. Especially helpful is a google pinned map of the spot
