- Comments: "Continuing bird first found by Mike E, lingering almost a week later. Seen around 5:45PM. Very small football-shaped heron with striped belly, tawny sides, and a black back. Working the same patch of phragmites opposite the Wellhouse, though it was further to the left than when I last saw it. Clear looks, although my appalling digibinned photos indicate otherwise; might be time for a camera."
