- Comments: "*Rare. Seen by m.obs. Dapper black and white bird with distinctive head pattern (back crown, white over the eye with golden loral spots, thick black area through eye, white cheek, black throat).

In a small sweetgum tree right on the path and very near Center Drive, after a long stakeout; Andrew Baksh heard it chip and was able to get people on it. Good views for a minute; I'll add photos.

Thanks to Andrew and to Ryan Mandelbaum who originally found the bird this morning."
