Louisiana water thrush makes a grand entrance

Possibly up to four Louisiana water thrushes alighted unto Prospect Park today, appearing in several places.

The first report from Max E. mentiones the Binnen pool, at Nethermead's east margin. This is where I saw my lunchtime sighting after a long walk to the Esdale Bridge and back.I shouldn't have left my vehicle. On the last note with Esdale ,another LOWA was seen in Ambergill and Ravine.

The Vale of Cashmere and Midwood also saw LOWAs. Even Greenwood cemetery Dellwater had a LOWA.

So for an early bird, a grand entrance regarding numbers for a typically uncommon species makes news.

Those Common Mergansers continuing their presence on prospect
Lake is an astounding honor after two full months. Must be something about the water.
