The birding was too quiet thanks to week long cold weather. Birds or waves prefer not to fly into a persistent north wind. But there's always a Virginian.
Some friends pass by my home as I was readying to get my car for a family reunion dinner. And from them I got information that the Virginia Rail continues at Lower Pool. At least it's good to hear it's sticking around. I gather the west shoreline is where it's at
