The top two warbler pursuits for today remain with a twist for one of the species.
The main guy our SWAINSONS Warbler remained in Brooklyn Bridge Park. It was spotted at a "triangle" south of the restrooms behind pier 4.Also a report I read placed the bird on the walkway between piers 3&4 ; look for birders for help.It of course feeds on leaf clutter mostly within shrubbery.
Prospects Prothonotary Warbler at West Island in southwest Lake continues but with a twist. A reliable birder reported a second Prothonotary on the Island! As I suspected when I was alerted of one at Peninsula the past week, this likely bird joined its companion on West Island.Pretty cool stuff.
