Greenwood cemetery's loyal Cattle Egret after a morning close call with a red tailed hawk returned to its roots at the 4th Ave/ 34th St entrance.
Look for the bird on the lawn slope past the security check in booth. It was reported this afternoon
Meanwhile in Prospect, a Pine warbler gathering took place on the Peninsula " thumb" as this species peaks. Also reported for water lovers are Louisiana Waterthrush at the Rock Arch bridge in the Ravine and a calling Rusty Blackbird near the Upper Pool dog beach
