Some text messages i received from yesterday relayed ORANGED-CROWNED WARBLER, PINE SISKIN,LINCOLN & WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW on Breeze Hill ( SNanz); European Goldfinch at Switchback ( RAlderson), .
**********************
From Monica Berger:
hi Peter: The park was very birdy today with lots of black-throated blues, perhaps higher in numbers than yellow-rumps. Palm warblers were popping around in many grassy areas and a large (50+?) flock of flickers were on the field in between the Long Meadow and the ballfields area. Highlights incl. an adult white-crowned sparrow on the switchback trail, a Lincoln's Sparrow found by Kathy T. (observed w/Peter C.) as well as long, long looks at a very cooperative adult female Tennessee Warbler on the dirt piles on Breeze Hill (observed w/Peter C.).

From Peter Colen:
Hello Peter,
I thought you may want these photos.
The Lincoln's Sparrow was seen and identified by Kathy. Monica was with us as well.
The Gray-cheeked thrush was first seen by me and then a group of 5 ID'd it. I'm not sure who actually ID'd it. It was a first for me.
Monica said she would send a list. A very good day.
Cheers, Peter
