Prospect April 15th bird briefs

Rob Bate reported LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH on the shores below the Terrace Bridge.

It must be comedy night as i observed very active  flock of ruffling feathers of 21 LAUGHING  GULLS in the center of Prospect Lake this afternoon. also seen along the shores PINE ,PALM & YELLOWRUMPED WARBLERS.

On Three Sisters,4 each of BLACK CROWNED NIGHT HERON & DOUBLE CRESTED CORMORANT with a pair of BUFFLEHEAD nearby.  

Also of note, an OSPREY perched on the Peninsula thumb ; it took off then flew towards Duck Island, clutching a catch.

12 SONG SPARROWS along the Well Drive lawn by Lamppost 249 picnic tables.
