Subject: JOIN US! WILD for Prospect Park Lakeside Cleanup and Visitor Outreach! Saturday, April 29th 10:00am-1:00pm

Hello Friends!

The glory of Spring is in full force and WILD for Prospect Park will be hosting its first Lakeside Cleanup and Visitor Outreach of 2017 on Saturday, April 29th from 10:00am-1:00pm

This month we will focus on the Prospect Park Southwest/Vanderbilt St side of the lake as well as a portion of the Peninsula.

We will scan the banks of the watercourse for harmful debris such as carelessly discarded fishing line, barbed hooks, lead sinkers, plastic bags, glass, bottle caps and rings, string and charcoal.  We will also reach out to visitors and share how they can become better stewards of the park's wildlife.
