This is an abbreviated post having led a long day birding my club walk to Massapequa. Nevertheless,as I expected this weekend Prospect recorded the FOS YELLOW THROATED WARBLER this morning.
Ed Crowne and Karen O'Hearn reported the rarity at Butterfly meadow. Then a report of the bird on Center Drive by the cemetery. A later report from Sean Sime mentioned the YTWA farther down center drive before it flew towards the Pools on Quaker ridge west side.then Kathy willens posted this text :YtWA pool where Rusty Blackbird likes to forage.
Prairie warbler was spotted at the Pools.
Orchard Oriole at Lamppost 249 according to Ed.
