Additional and more pictures now point towards CHIPPING SPARROW immature bird with a missing or undeveloped eye lore ( between bill and eye) .One of those weird plumaged Chipping Sparrows.In addition,it appears in one of the pictures I received the bird has a grayish rump instead of the brown Clay coloreds have.
I will post the pictures tomorrow..A good way of learning of not everything we see is true and the need to look at other field marks to nail the identity for rare birds.
