It's been a loooonng day on a coastal Brooklyn BBC trip with Tom Stephenson, but I'll be brief regarding a Prospect rarity.
This mid-morning,Gabrie Willow spotted a CONECTICUT WARBLER at the north end of the Vale Cashmere. More specifically on the bamboo slope along the path towards a pumphouse. After hours search it was refound I presumed in that general vincinity or the Vale itself no details given.
Other news was a plethora of FLYCATCHERs around the Well house area according to Janet Zinn. OLIVE SIDE,GREAT CRESTED,PEWEE,and some empidonax species reported.
Time to rest now.
