Today's absence of Prospect Lake's Canvasback shifted to Brooklyn Bridge pier 2 where Heather Wolf reported 3 of this species south of the pier.Its not necessarily the same ones from yesterday's report but CANVASBACK is a welcomed sight anywhere in these parts.
As consolation, there's now 5 COMMON MERGANSER at Prospect Lake. (Obs. Chris Elliot)
