- Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S403170049
- Comments: "Flagged as rare. Only listing one out of an abundance of caution but really probably two. First heard one calling between ballfields 2 and 3 where they’ve been in recent days and eventually saw and photographed it up in a tree: Large sparrow with blurry streaks and prominent white eyering. Then later I was down picking through sparrows down in the fenced-off wildflowers just NW of the dog beach when I saw a larger sparrow with white outer-tail feathers fly up that soon revealed itself to be a Vesper as well—though theoretically it could have just been one large sparrow flock moving around the ballfields area. Photos of each encounter available, and maybe I’ll up it to two if they look like different individuals."
