Highlights were the continuing juvenile red-headed woodpecker, flying among three or four trees in the vicinity, and a cooperative hermit thrush at the Dell Water (pictures below). Other birds were sparse: a flock of Canada geese, blue jays, starlings, parakeets, a red-bellied woodpecker or two, several juncos, the usual robins, and a few white-breasted nuthatches.
