Fwd: eBird Report - Prospect Park, Nov 9, 2015

Some surprising sparrow activity concentrated in one locale, namely the Sparrow bowl, north of the Tennis House. About 25 birds on the lawn, occasionally fleeing to the tree and fence area could be observed,4 different sparrow species: Song,White throated ,Junco and Chipping.

While observing them with my back next to the fence, appropriately a " winter" species came up. Well, the name that is, WINTER WREN popped out from the mugwort patch;A cool looking bird, perky and stumpy energetic little ball of feathers.
