Subject: Fwd: eBird Report - Green-Wood Cemetery, Oct 19, 2014
Was able to fit in a couple of hours in the late afternoon in Green-Wood. Mostly I focused on the sky, because raptors seemed to be moving.

33 species
Canada Goose 78
Wood Duck 1
Great Blue Heron 1
Turkey Vulture 36 large flock exact count in view at once overflight heading southeast
Sharp-shinned Hawk 4 seen at intervals 1, 1, 2. possible one was a repeat because the last two were circling and hunting but I think 4 is the more likely count.
Red-shouldered Hawk 1 Not a long look but translucent crescents on wing tips were clearly visible
Broad-winged Hawk 1 dark border to light wings, overall stubby squat look but flying very high so hard to be 100 percent sure. seems late for this species.
