About the only interesting thing today on this wet day occurred at the "Sparrowbowl", the vale north of the Tennis House where a sizable flock of CHIPPING SPARROWS moved around.Among them a single FIELD SPARROW, several Juncos filled out the rest of the wet parade. . Otherwise, a good day to stay indoors unless one has to work outdoors planting... ( yes ..me). oh I say the Chippy flock numbered up to 200 birds.Wednesday, October 22, 2014
