Sparrow's day!!! With great hopes to find the Grasshopper Sparrow seen yesterday at the Peninsula, I left around 8:30 am to the Park.  My first group of sparrows was around the North Woods, large numbers of White-throated were seen forraging.  This sps was very abundant, almost everywhere I went.  At the Peninsula, I joined forces with K. Tommey, and together we saw the Lincoln's Sparrow  (see pictures). Other sparrows seen in the same area were Swamp, White-crowned, Song, Junco, Chipping, House, White-throated.  And warblers, too.  The most unusual was a female look-alike of Wilson's.  Also we saw Myrtle, Palm, & Yellowthroat.
No luck with the Grasshopper.
