Hi Peter,
Yesterday's Tuesday walk was the last of the season, and it was a fun one. For the second week in a row we saw a Vesper Sparrow on the ballfields; in general, there was a good variety of sparrows and hawks. An adult Rose-breasted Grosbeak by Lefrak was a surprise; that one should be in the tropics already!
We observed 58 species. Here's our list: https://ebird.org/checklist/S404061506.
Thank you to Angie for co-leading. I'm also thankful to all those who joined this season, whether for one week or seven, that helped make the Tuesday walk a fun place to learn and spend time together. I think it's a special group and I'm happy to be part of it.
Ryan
