A text tweet that somehow mysterious ly escaped me yesterday found my way a day later with a reported YELLOW BREASTED CHAT in Prospect's Sparrowbowl.
Seen again today, the Chat put in a few brief views in the depressed area situated between the Tennis and Picnic Houses. So reputed as a terrific Sparrow locale - hence the name- the chat feels right at home in this richly restored site replete with flowers grasses and shrubs and trees in the background.
Tomorrow's cold wind from the north may be a great time to bird the Sparrowbowl after the dog run curfew.
