- Comments: "Great find by Thomas Meinzen, overall pale and buffy sparrow with no black on the lores, a bordered white malar stripe, and a gray nape. On the hills SE of Sylvan mixed in with CHSPs, basically where I tried to find them but failed last fall. My gateway sparrow."

- Comments: "Woohoo! Lifer. Found by Richard Fleming,  large, slender sparrow with unique face patterns, featuring a long tail with white edges, causing me to mistake it for a weirdly colored NOMO at first. I refound it right by the Sunset Park entrance overpass, flying between two sides of the path, mostly in trees but dropped down once to the edge of the path to forage. Photos."

Beauty is the only thing that time cannot harm. Philosophies fall away like sand, creeds follow one another, but what is beautiful is a joy for all seasons, a possession for all eternity.
