We had a pleasant start to the fall series in Brooklyn Bridge Park. A smattering of warblers on Pier 1 was a teaser for the main course of a nice variety of warblers in and around the Pier 3 maze - Blue-winged, Prairie, Tennessee, and Blackpoll the highlights.
On the walk over to Pier 3 we detected a full nest of American Goldfinches, at least the. 3rd nest discovered in the park this year.
