  Watching the migration forecast unfold last night I decided to spend the first hour of light on the top of Lookout Hill in Prospect Park.
  On the bike ride in I could hear occasional chip notes, but it didn't sound very active. Once on top of the hill it was obvious there were some new arrivals. Groups of Waxwings and Goldfinches headed south and at 6:35 there were already two American Kestrels hunting over the Butterfly Meadow (one successfully).
  As the sun started to hit the tops of the trees songbirds became visible.
Highlights included;
Philadelphia Vireo
  Scarlet Tanager
  Baltimore Oriole
  Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Northern Waterthrush
  Black and White Warbler
  Tennessee Warbler
  Common Yellowthroat
  American Redstart
  Northern Parula
  Magnolia Warbler
  Black-throated Green Warbler
  Wilson's Warbler
  Blackpoll Warbler
The Ebird checklist with 2 poor quality photos of the vireo can be see here;
