- Comments: "**Low density, inconspicuous migrant, with typically only a handful seen annually in Brooklyn/Queens. Flushed by passing walker out of unmown grass north of the Dell Water. We quickly re-located in the dark understory on the adjacent slope, where it was doing the typical Connecticut Warbler thing of staying still for a while on one perch after flushing. This perch was obscured, so were only able to get some awful views, no matter how much we moved around. After it dropped back down to feed, we repositioned and got pretty good views after it flew up off the forest floor and perched in shady view for a minute before buggering off. Photos, video."
